Get in The Ring by Ken Turner
"A word uttered in a moments breath, is as direct as a kick to the head, but made with a considered and learnt yet intuitive grammar held in the gymnasium of the mind". A collaboration between Kick Boxing and the art of Drawing, the GET IN THE RING project offered an 'extraordinary life class' to an audience of all walks of life and drawing skills, invited to draw a kickboxing spectacle of sight and sound featuring world champion Julie Kitchen of Touchgloves. Unusually, the event was held at the Exchange Gallery in Penzance, attracting a wide and unexpected audience.
