St Eval Film Archive by Jane Darke

Jane Darke is one of Cornwall's most celebrated film makers. Together with her late husband, Nick Darke, they made The Wrecking Season, a seminal documentary about man-made and natural treasures washed up on the shores of St Eval. Following Nick's untimely death, Jane was commissioned by BBC3 to produce a documentary about loss, grief and the hope for recovery. Both films were screened on television and at film festivals all over the world.

This her third film in her St Eval trilogy is less about the place and more about the people of St Eval. With the community's full cooperation and participation, it promises to be bluntly honest and powerfully celebratory. It will serve as a lasting legacy to the people of this rural coastal corner of Cornwall.
